Default lsvtec

i plan on doing a lsvtec stock bottom end, i want to run at least 10:1 and low boost, 8lb max. i have little money left to get forged piston and rod, but i wont able to sleeve it. should i get those piston or leave it? this need to be a reliable vehicle for daily driver. the motor will be build with oem parts, and the head will have s2 valve spring and ti retainer, and s2s2 cam, stock igntion, 440cc inj, 255walbro, crome pro tuned. i was gonna drive this motor and not boost it for at least 6months then going with 8lbs boost max, want to be at 280whp goal.

For that power goal just go with stock internals. I went 1.5 years with a stock block lsvtec at 310hp before I decided to go with forged internals.

nice! do u mind tell me little bit about your setup??
this is what i have in mind on my setup, but if i can save a few bucks. but i'm not cutting corners.
my car crx b16a with y1 tranny LSD

12sec street daily car either fi or NA, right now looking into fi.
b18b block
new oem oil pump
new water pump
golden eagle lsvtec kit
arp head stud and rod stud(i want to rev around 8k)
skunk2 stage 2 NA cam(i bought it cheap so i gonna use it with the turbo setup for now)
skunk2 valve spring
skunk2 ti retainer
oem piston ring(if bore is ok, i just going to honed it keeping it around 81mm bore)
oem rod bearing but may get acl bearing
new oem timing belt or greddy(just don't know if i want to spend the money for the greddy but i'm sure it worth it)
b16a head (match port)
stock piston (stock cr)
will be running crome pro tuned p28
knock sensor?? i see almost everyone run knock sensor with lsvtec build so i'm not sure if it needed. which my p28 wont support it unless i get the knock board for it.
440cc injector(which is fine i can tune it down to run on low duty cycle till i need more fuel) and walbro 255. going to run all motor for a little while before i boost it.
becuz i going to build my own turbo kit. so it be little time for me to get all the part together. and also allow the motor breaking in. about 6months time.
a 300whp is very nice, but i'm happy 280. just like i said low 12s what i like to be.

now if i can build a N/A to reach 12s goal, i be happy too, save me time for turbo build.

i running a b16a i thought about building it.
let me know what u guys think, thx
