Been thinking of picking up a GSR trans, and stock b18b(health one unlike mines) boosting it and continue building my motor on the side. hmmm... Also the guy the hit my car signed a paper saying he's going to fix my car so hopefully this Friday and Saturday
Also I was going to install my gsr tranny and order some arp head studs and do the timing belt and water pump.. Don't remember if I had it done before or not its been awhile..

Ya bro it felt great, just getting the car tuned .. Enjoying it and then what pulls up a Sti, I always said I wanna race a Sti and Evo as soon as i got it boosted and I did lmaoooo ;0).. Ya man it felt great beating that thing.. It was funny I'm driving just cruising close to my house then a Sti jumps on the highway.. All cocky and everything driving with his window down looking at my car like junk .. And mind you I was a car behind the entire time which made the kill even better because he had a car jump and left first then i chased and passed him..

The only problem I'm having with the car is its not over heating but running alot hotter then it should like almost halfway and then when I check the antifreeze its always low after I drive the car and then I check the over flow tank and it's always filled. So any other suggestions? Also I did some research and turned the heat to full blast and see if the temp dropped to see if the Thermostat was stuck open and not really a difference very minimal when checked.. So tomorrow I'm going to flush out the radiator and check for bubbles in the system then top it off with more antifreeze. Then if the same problem continues I'll install my brand new oem thermostat, new autozone radiator, and check it again.. Since it's almost at 1/2 way on the temp that's not considered over heating right ? Or DOes it have to go over halfway to be considered overheating?

Let you guys know the outcome

Very true Justin.. My buddy said the same thing and agree's 100%

So after talking to my buddy that built my car he also said he agrees that it could be head lift also.. So were either going to do 2 things .. I'm bringing the car back to him tomorrow so he can check it over completely and see if there are other minor things he has to fix and plus I don't like daily driving it around certain area's .

So we said if it is just lift from the head I'll just order some ARP ls head studs and call it a day.. But if has anything to do with the head gasket , I said I wouldn't do all that work just for a ls.. I rather use one of my vtec heads which I picked the b16 head and I would first drop it off at the machine shop and have it checked to make sure its good before I do anything to it.. Then I said I would use a set of dual valve springs and retainers I have.. With the itr valves I also have, blox or victor intake manifold haven't decided yet but most likely blox because the Victor is more for top end and more power . Were the blox will make power from low rpms, ( intake manifold and tb will also be port matched for smooth flow and I might have them port the blox manifold for maximum air flow) Bwr 70mm tb, bosch 1000 id's , bronze valve guides, full race ls vtec kit which I also have, Itr oil pump which I have, Itr water pump and greddy timing belt.. And reuse everything else needed to complete it which currently is on the motor..

This is only if it has anything to do with the head gasket above will be done...

ah thanks... Iv been looking at the "silicone intakes" FMIC. its $150 and with shipping its under $200.

also this may be a dumb question. I noticed my manifold is threaded. Does this mean I have to use crush and lock nuts on not ends? or does the turbo itself come threaded?

I'm considering changing my pre-intercooler piping from 2.5" to 2". Mainly for clearance issues that I'm having. Will there be adverse effects that I need to be concerned about, i.e. spooling, lag, etc, and would this small change constitute a retune?

Would this change my graph a lot, if any?

its going to spool a tiny tiny bit quicker but if you can leave it 2.5" or go to 2.25" 2 " will be a restriction but only to a certain degree. what turbo r u running?
