LS VTECH Turbo Help...?
Ok i need some advice from the pros in the field love my LS now I thinking of going LS/vtech Turbo i already acuired an LS stock block which has a Nuformz block guard welded in place now for this set up i have a Professionally Ported and polished b16a Vtech head with a 3 angle valve job and a port matched intake manny i have Type R cams and retainers in this head is there any advice you guys can offer me to guide me in my build i plan to run acl race bearings and arp bolts i was thinking of running a girdle but im not too sure about this just yet not sure if i need it. Question....? With this setup being a stock block what can i expect and how much boost can it handle without going into the danger zone......im planning on running a VAFC2 or an Emange i know they cant compare in no way but im lookin to save some money id probably go with the emange tho... please help in any way u can guys .....Thanks

do massive search!!
Don'T go with e-manage or vafc, go with chipped ecu.
Don't use race bearing, they are for race... your engine won'T last.
Search for the rest

not sure how you know what a 3 angle valve job is, but can't spell VTEC right.
Also, why have a fully ported vtec head with high revving cams, then run a stock ls block. While its all apart, spend a little extra on some eagles and forged pistons so you can really take advantage of the setup.
But, we dont really know what your goals are, stock blocks are typically taken up to 300whp for a daily driver car, I personally wouldn't push it any further, especially since your talking about tuning it with emanage/vafc.

Use Hondata, make sure you have someone that you know has a lot of experience working with honda heads when getting head work done.

Agreed.
Also the big red button in the corner will probably answer all of your questions along with the FAQ in the forced induction section. Don't worry about going crazy on the head and then keeping the stock LS block. That is pointless.
