Default ls/vtec/turbo stats

I would like to see how much hp you guys are running (street cars of coarse) and what mods you have(dyno numbers if you have them). I did a search but it doesn't look like its popular with forced induction. Can anyone shed some light on the situation or post a link to where I can aquire this info? How reiable is this setup?

Thanks in advance

An LS/vtec with boost is as reliable as a gsr is, if done properly. I would suggest not running the oil feed line to the head off of the same oil T that supplies oil to the turbo. The stock 1/8th BSP hole is not big enough to feed oil to the turbo and the head at the same time. Tape a new 1/8th NPT hole in the back oil galley and run a -6 to the head.

what turbohonda said is true...they can make good power, but I'm looking for more torque, that's why I'm trying to sell my ls/vtec setup for an h22

1320development- can you list what you did to yours? This is what I am building, tell me if its going to make decent power.

B16a head with TypeR valve train (midly ported)
ARP head studs
2001 GSR cams
AEM cam gears (any good settings for cam gears that works well?)
TypeR intake manifold (port matched to head)
650cc injectors
stock throttlebody bored out to 64mm
B18A bottom end
STR blockguard
Eagle rods
SRP pistons (motor has 9.5 to 1 comp)
equal length turbo manifold
t3-60-1 turbo .58 exhaust housing
Tial wastegate
2 1/2 " intercooler piping
HKS blowoff valve
spearco 22x8x3.5 intercooler
B&M fuel pressure reg
Walbro 255 intank pump
3' exhaust (no cat)
Zydne gold ecu
92 GSR tranny
13 pound flywheel
clutch masters stage3 pressure plate and clutch

How am I looking so far? please cirtque, I have thick skin so let it rip. I just want to do this right once. Also at wha point should I activate the vtec?

Also I am a little foggy on where exactly I have to tape for a oil feed line to the head. Any pics ?

This by far is the best board ever for forced induction, thanks for your replies.

Drill a 1/4" npt in the block. This will give you the same id as the factory oil feed to the head. Use a 1/4" NPT to -6 fitting on the block and 3/8" NPT to -6 fitting on the head.

Ive ran a -6 line to the head from the ALLEN plug on the oil pump, I tapped it from there on several motors and they all seem to work fine. OIL pressure seem to be fine with no pressure drop. and used the regular feed line where everyone else ran there in back of the block.

Moroso now makes an adapter that you can tap the oil feed to the head and a seperate one from the same location to the turbo(oil feed line). I can find out from a local shop (DEEPSTAGE MOtorSPORTS here in town. They dont cost as much and also its filtered oil with this PLATE which i dont remember what its called.

Thank you guys for the info, I really appreciate it. What can I expect from this setup (hp)? On the street i will run 12 to 13psi on pump gas and 18 to 20 psi with C16. Also should I look at throughing in a TypeR girdle? I hear LS mains have a tendency to walk. I have the short block still at my engine builders place. Its been completely balanced. I don't plan on reving past 8200rpm when racing which isn't that often. If it doesn't come out this year I don't care. I just want it right when it does. This car will never see a slick, but a decent radial tire.
