helped built a motor for a friend of mine.the setup is as follows......b16 2nd gen head, ctr intake,itr exhaust ,b18a bottom with .5m over pistons je 9 to1 ,ls crank,crower rods and cometic headgasket..................if you guys could maybe tell me what kind of compression numbers should be looking at. thanks!

 

If im not mistaken from what i rmember with the b16 head your adding about .3 points of compression.

 

Gen 2 is right....I just did the same thing and my compression is now 9.3:1

 

well thanks i kinda know it's going to be around 9.2,3 to 1 . i did a compression test and came up with 175 psi. across the board cyl.1-4. what do you guys think of these numbers.

 

numbers look fine. I was told on my last lsvtec numbers should be 160ish.

 

i'm glad to hear that those numbers look good .....anybody else have any opinions please keep them coming.
