LS/VTEC Turbo Question
This is a fairly easy question. I just bought an LS/VTEC motor which has an oil filter sandwich to supply the head. I want to run a turbo on this motor, can I just split that oil line to run oil to the turbo or do I need to run another line?
Run a second line to the turbo. If you have the golden eagle sandwich then there should be 2 ports to run oil from that. also you can still utilize the stock Oil sender location on the back of the block for a feed too. I use the sandwich for the oil senders (which are remotly mointed because of there tendancy to break off) I use the stock sender port for the turbo (using a needling valve and mechanical gauge to limit the oil psi to the tubo to 25psi max hot) and the head gets priority in all cases. be carefull not to use to small or to big of a feed line (a -3an "should" suffice).

Thanks, Im going after higher boost this year maybe 10 or 11psi so Im hoping for more torque, The only problem is that I have a ........ahem.....11:1 comp ratio, or so my best guess is. So i am limited a little by this. (sigh) damn warped head.
Once I get my motor out of this shitty Integra and into my Civic I'm gonna boost it but it's an LS/VTEC with Wiseco 11.5:1 Pistons it does how ever have Eagle rods so if I tune it correctly I should be fine with 5-8 PSI
