Default LS/Vtec Turbo.. Confused??

Ok, so here is the thing, I just did an LS/Vtec Turbo in my car. It was running good, but it was overheating, car ran fine right before pulling the head. Now, I put the head back on and the car was running good, I took it down the road about 3 miles, car started skipping terribly bad. I got the car back to the house and started pulling the head again. Put a new headgasket on it got everything back together again, and it is still skipping. We pulled the plug wires out to see which one is missing and to our suprise it is only running on 1 cylinder?? It is really confusing with this, because when we had the head checked it wasn't warped or nothing. Any ideas, please help me, really wanna get the car running.

Do a compression and leakdown test. Im pretty sure your car wouldnt run with one cylinder. The rest might just be weak.

before you napalm the car, these should be tested first.

that's what I thought, but we pulled plug wires 1-3 out and the car never changed the skipping it was doing?? I just don't get why this would start out of the blue?? I mean all I did was put a new headgasket on it and it started acting up?? I will try and get a compression and leakdown test done now. Last time I did one was when I first got the car going and everything.

it was about to get taken to a dyno, that's why I was getting the overheating problem it was doing fixed, but it had been tuned with a wideband. Just trying to get this fixed soon so I can get it going again. If I can't then i'm just going to get ready to tear it down and build it... Just would take me awhile to finish everything up.
