just pick up any b series vtec head: b16, b18c (jdm or usdm). If you can get a type-r head it will flow a little better and will make a little more power, and people make good numbers on the type-r cams. If you get a head without an intake manifold buy a skunk2 or something. You will also need a ls vtec conversion kit. golden eagle makes one. It's a good idea to get the head resurfaced at a machine shop before putting it on (if it's used). You also might want to install new LMA's. JDM b18c has higher compression than USDM but that is because it has taller pistons. I think the heads are the same. The b16b is the civic type-r motor which wasn't made in US is just about the same as the ITR head with slightly more aggressive cams. but any jdm or usdm b-series vtec head will work.

Yea man, ^ pretty much covered it. I wouldnt worry too much about which head you get, just get whatever the best deal is, get it rebuilt and get it on there. I went with the Golden Eagle ls/vtec kit, no problems with it at all. The VTEC head is such an upgrade in itself over the LS head.
