Default ls/vtec questions

so im sorry i read a lil.. but like tha internet out here is really slow... so im bout to buy some 84mm darton sleeves.. to put in a ls block.. does that mean that i would have touse 84mm pistons outa a b20?? or find some over sized pistons for a b18?? sorry im in iraq tha computer/internet i have blows dick... any help is much appreciated thanks for all ur time l8rs

You'll need to find the size to match with the sleeve. I would NOT use B20 OEM pistons.

lol of course im not gonna use oem pistons.. wiseco like 9.5 -1s than a thicker headgasket that will bring compression down to like 9.1-1 or 9-1 than go like 25-30psi. so another question.. would you all recommend goin 84mm bore with a thinner wall or 81mm with a thicker wall?? its steadily gonna be under boost.. so im kinda thinkin 81mm with thicker walls jus to be on tha safe side ya know.. i dunno i cant make up my mind someone help lol

see thats what i was sayin to my buddie jus get tha pistons tha same size as tha bore n some kid was like no you have to have tha pistons for that block n i was like well if i have bigger sleeves than stock why am i gonna go with stock sized pistons?.. i was jus makin sure... theres some retarded *** mother ****ers in tha army.. i argued with this guy forever n jus wanted to clarify.. l8s anybody suggestions would be sweet thanks

Why use a thicker head gasket to lower ur compression?? Just buy the pistons at the compression you wana run. Plus if the block is sleeved you should be just fine with the 84mm bore.
