Default b20 or b16(p30) pistons?????

i have a ls block and was wondering if i should use b20 high compression pistons at a 85mm bore or p30 pistons at a 81mm (std)..i am using a b16 head,,this is for a ls vtec build...with which piston will it run better and will i require higher octane gas?

umm what?

either 85mm or 81mm?

more air=more power

just buy a b20 block for 200 bucks and put some pistons in for 150 and be done with it

well i already have the ls block which i was planning to get it balanced ,honed, bored to 84 or 85mm..well thats if i go with b20 pistons..or if i decide to use my p30 pistons that i already have but they are 81mm..so my question was>>will it be best to keep my p30 set,,or just to make my block 85mm and put b20 pistons???
