Default LS Valvetrain???

What do you guys think about using any of the B series VTEC valvetrains in an LS head for turbo? Has it been done? Can it or will it work for revs up to 7,500 rpms. I figured I could save a little money doing it that way instead of buying titanium retainers and dual valve springs.

i used to revv my stock LS up to 8500 back then when all i had was I/E/PYR chip. Guess i was one of the lucky ones who never had a valve or rocker arm fly off.
