LS-V Turbo no vtec when warm
setup is as follows:
99 gsr head rebuilt with stock internals
99ls b18b1 block
mahle forged pistons
eagle rods
edelbrock victor x
skunk 2 70 mm tb
precision 60-1
cometic headgasket
arp everything
as of the last couple weeks my car is loosing vtec after the car has warmed up. the car has been tuned by scotty at mainstream performance. the oil pump is new and oil pressure is about 60. i have tried swapping the solenoid and pressure switch. ive tried swapping the ecu as well. i also have disable vtec speed check, vtec coolant check, and the vtec pressure switch via crome. the motor only has about 2400 miles on it. i dont think the issue lies with bearings because oil pressure is good. also the compression has been check and is good as well. also i removed the tuned map and reburned it with a base map from phearable and it does the same thing. is there anything else that i have missed that could cause me to be loosing vtec?

Re: LS-V Turbo no vtec when warm
Did you try using your buddy's solenoid on your car & let your car get up to temp? If your problem only lies when its warm, you have to recreate the situation with the new part to try. How much oil is in your car, btw? Oil weight, new? The more info you give, the better of a chance HT can help you out
