Default ls turbo tuning question

i have a 2000 LS that im planning on turbo charging at some point. its going to run on the stock motor, low boost 6-7 psi and im wondering whats a cost effective reliable tuning tool i can use that will keep the car good for a daily driver. a stand alone is out of the question so im thinking more along the lines of a piggyback system. any suggestions would be appreciated, thanks!

you can get some chip tuning done, probably even get away with a street tune if your really low on funds. crome/uberdata will work for you to get things started. use them to pull out a few degrees timing and make sure the fuel ratios look good. i used both of them for many years.

since your car is a 2000 you will need to convert to obd1
