That's incredible. I have a similar setup:
srp 9.5
eagle rods
skunk im
550cc
t3/t4e 57 trim
hondata

I wanted 350hp around 15-17psi but most of the dynos I have seen don't even come close unless I'm boosting around 2Xpsi for LS motors (20psi just seem soo much without a block being sleeved). Congrats again

And you think 240 is an attainable number at 6.5 psi even with the smaller of the precision series, the sc50?

Those are some nice setups. I don't think it will be too hard to get 300whp. I also want to make some good tq though.

What kind of a dyno was it? dyno jet, dynopack, etc?

What rpm do you spool at? I was going to go with a smaller t3 for quick spool but if you spool decent with your t3/t04 I might go that route.

i "started" to spool from what i recall (i sold the kit so its been a while) right around 3-3200 rpm, i would reach 12.5 psi by 4-4300 rpm in that area... revved it out to 7100 (stock LS longblock)... on 22x8x15's bouncing the limiter in 4th i was running low 12's @ 118, best et of an 11.9 @ prolly 2300 lbs or so (with driver)

clayton dyno are known to produce higher hp/tq when compared with dyno jet.

setup is:
motor setup:
b18b1, eagle rods, je pistons, dart sleeves, arp bolts/studs, oem bearings, skunk2 intake mani, aem cam gears, ngk plugs gapped .029

turbo setup:
turbonetics t3to4e .63/.60 57trim, drag mani(yeah i know...but i had to sell my equal length mani for $$$), precision 750hp fmic, msd 3bar map, msd 1008cc injectors, blitz ss bov, tial wg, custom IC piping (2"-&gt; 2.25"-&gt; fmic-&gt; 2.5"), custom 2.5"-&gt;3" dp, custom oil cooler, TR&D 3" turbo exhaust, 3" test pipe, AEM EMS 30-1000 w/wideband.

i think that's about it.

on a pretty shitty tune(only 4 pulls total after creating a base map since AEM does not support MSD injectors) i only made this much with fouled pulls, heat soaked motor, etc...

I'm pushing 8psi on my Turbo LS [EH2] and the butt dyno and everyone says I'm making 220-250whp right now. It pulls hard and I love it. You can see pics and my setup here:

<TABLE WIDTH="90%" CELLSPACING=0 CELLPADDING=0 ALIGN=CENTER><TR><TD>Quote, originally posted by Mr.DC2TurBo &raquo;</TD></TR><TR><TD CLASS="quote">That is one hell of a LS... 334 at only 14 psi with such an average size turbo??? I have always wondered about this one, if an LS making 300 hp vs a GSR making 300hp, which one would win? I understand a gsr would go through the gears faster but an LS would make more tq. So what is better?</TD></TR></TABLE>

I would think it depends more on the overall torque curve and not just the peak numbers.

A LS might make more peak torque but a GS-R can rev higher and get there faster...so I'm guessing GS-R with all HP peak #'s being consistant.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

What Intake manifold are you LS guys running to make good #'s? RevHard? Skunk2? JG Edlebrock? Others?

This will be one of my next upgrades as I dont think my B18a breathes very well. Thinking about attaining a B18B head and Skunk2 IM with a GSR throttlebody.

Also, does hondata make the IM gasket for the non-vtec head?

BTW...I'm thinking I'm close to 190 whp @ ~8-9psi on my b18a with a SC34/inline pro manifold. I need to get this bitch dyno'd as someone else made 202 HP / 189 TQ on my TurboEdit map this past weekend on the same motor/car @ 9 psi.

Do you need to put block sleeves if your running 300whp or more?

That 334 WHP number is converted to STD, so it's more along the lines of 315-320 WHP SAE. Still a nice number from an LS.

I see that your putting well over 300 on 440cc injectors . I thought that they max out at 300whp, I wonder what the duty cycle is?
