Default Ls turbo setups

Within the next few months (hopefully) I should be getting everything together for an Ls turbo setup in my Ek. I just wanted to see what all the other Ls turbo guys are running and what kind of power numbers you're putting down.

I guess everyone either hates Ls turbo or they are busy blowing up vtec heads.

i have a b18b1 ls motor in my EK with tdo5h turbo. its the same size as t25 but more efficient. spools FAST unlike t3's and t4's and way better for the streets. with t3's and t4's by the time u spool up ur competition is 5 cars away...lol

What kind of power are you making with the td05 and does it hold to redline? Also I want a t3 so I actually won't max it out right away.

Sorry to jack your thread, but i just finished my ls turbo, and i have a set of SRP, 9:1 c/r, 81mm (stock bore) comes with pistons, wrist pins, and locks....

before I did the fully built LS, I had a stock LS, with a drag 3 kit, and at 6lbs it made 198 hp, I dunno what it will make now that its fully built

unfortunately i live in the middle of nowhere in MN and never ever dyno'ed. it was set at 7 psi with stock internals but my car is sitting on jack stand and im about to install 9:1 CP pistons with eagle rods. then i will bump up the boost and see how well it spools.
tdo5h was slow at upper rpm but unless u get like a tiny *** 14b or something turbos keep making HP anywhere in the rpm range, just how efficient...depends on the trims

I'm going to start by boosting a stock Ls block and see what it does. I've been told by a local tuner that with a t3 setup, stock block, uberdata that I could make 300whp. So i'll see what happens.

I have a 95 hatch with an LS swap. With a SFP mani, t3/t04e, 740cc injectors, greddy 24 FMIC, 2.5" flared to 3" DP, E-cut out, etc... and on 14.5psi i made 303whp/270wtq on a heat soaked motor. Im gonna go back and try to hit 310 or so on the same map. BTW this was all tuned on Uberdata.

By the end of the summer, i should have an sc50, a greddy 24 intercooler, revhard mani, tial BOV and wastegate, 550cc rc injectors, revhard downpipe (2.5"), and a three inch exhaust all the way back. Will be funning 6.5 psi. Hoping for around 220. You guys think that is attainable tuned with hondata?

That is one hell of a LS... 334 at only 14 psi with such an average size turbo??? I have always wondered about this one, if an LS making 300 hp vs a GSR making 300hp, which one would win? I understand a gsr would go through the gears faster but an LS would make more tq. So what is better?

nice... is your head and motor built? ppl always tell me a 50 trim would take around 18psi to make 300 hp. But at 14psi? That is damn good. Makes me wonder if I should just keep my ls turbo as is instead of waiting to do ls vtec turbo.

You really think i can hit that? At that point i would be worried about the stock clutch. I can't afford another. I've been told to expect around 200.
