ls turbo q's
i want to do a b18b swap on my civic. i looking for like 400hp i getting arp head studs, darton sleeves, cp pistons and eagle rods, crower stage two turbo cams, 750cc injectors, walbro 255lph fuel pump, and i was thinking a gt3076r but idk if that will spool up fast enough what would spool up fast and still make 400 hp

Re: ls turbo q's
If its 1500 for just the turbo then I'd look into the GT30 or GT35, or like go journal bearing which is cheaper and get a 60trim. The sleeves is good insurance, I mean if he had a goal of 300whp it would overkill, cause he would eventually get sick of it and turn up boost maybe then have 400. But starting with 400 when he turns it up hes allready built for 500+. Most people would just throw a B16/B18 vtec head and see better gains then cams alone. There are a lot of LSVtecs with stock heads making big power. The holsets are hard to come by in good condition (ive looked) and there kinda expensive to rebuild.

what trans would i use for this build that would be cable clutch. i heard longer gears were good if you have a turbo engine, so i was thinking about a trans from a b18a. but then i was told by a friend to us a b16 trans. so idk what i should use, any thoughts?
