If you want 12's go turbo. But if you're going to be building I would go ls-vtec. But be prepared to spend alot of money. But the all-motor would be easier to maintain, but would be harder to attain your desired 12 second timeslips.

put a LS motor in it with some Web cams, web springs and retainers, SS valves, Nitrous wet kit and some slicks, I promise you'll hit 12's maybe even 11s.

if you are going to get any serious power out of a LS motor you have to turbocharge it. You could go all motor, but after you spend just as much as you would with a turbo you will have less than 200 whp. Spend the same on turbo and you'll end up with 200++++

It all depends on what do you want out of the car. Both setups can easily net you 12's sec time slips. All motor will be alot easier and worry free to maintain. Turbo has the most potential along with a bigger window for problems. What do you plan on doing with the car? For example a big t3/t4 would be to laggy if you auto-x but if you "race" then turbo is your best bet. I say turbo but these questions have been answered in the past use the search option.

Well, what other "all motor" things do I have to get to make my LS REX run in tha 12's????..because my LS Head has..PORTED & POLISH, 3 ANGLE VALVE JOB, POLISH COMBUSTION CAMBER, REPROGRAMED ECU AT 8,500 REDLINE, CROWER 403'S STAGE 2 CAMS, DUAL VALVESPRINGS, TITANIUM RETAINERS, AEM CAM GEARS, BORED-OUT THROTTLE BODY, PORT-MATCHED INTAKE MANIFOLD, DC SPORTS 4-2-1 CEREMIC HEADER, INTAKE, RACING CAT, AND CUSTOM 2 1'2 EXHAUST..the LS head is competely built, but the block still has all of its stock internal..nothing done to the block yet..
