Default LS turbo?

i have decided to turbo my LS and i am willin to put all tha money into it.

goal is at least ova 200 whp and ova 150 lbs torque

i am gettin new of everything

what i would like to kno is...?

what type of companies should i use?

pistons?
cams?
cam gears?
cranks?

o yea i would like my compression to 9:1 i think thats perfect for a turbo application..anyone agree..

any suggestions

you wont need to worry about any of that for 200 hp

if you are looking for 200 whp then all you need is a turbo kit wither it be custom or a pre-fabed kit. the pistons, rods, cams, ect. will only help you push further into the 200 range, maby the 300 whp range.

dude. just keep it stock buy a used turbo kit for cheap and call it a day. easy as that. my ls turbo in my eg was the **** to me i loved it. bone stock. pulled very hard.

an ls will be fine at 200whp. even if you did blow your motor, with all the money you didnt spend on the internals you could buy another one.

if you plan to shoot for more than 200whp in the future than build it up, but for 200whp you dont need it.

do some research and then ask some more specific questions

aight my main question i would like to ask how much should i bore out my sleeves to handle a good amount of turbo boost..?

again.... too general.

what is "a good amount"

also, you dont have to bore you motor out to run a lot of boost, you need to get it sleeved. most people do bore it out when they get it sleeved but that is up to you and your goals....

you need a goal, then you need to research what will get you there. right now you are just daydreaming with no strait line.

please do some research and then come back with a specific question. or PM me and ill help you out. however if you keep going at this rate im sure the thread will get lock, or no one will answer you any more.

thank you very much for tha advice...i will continue my search and experiment..
i am at an automotive skool and im gonna be in engine rebuild class next quarter when i finish my car i will post tha results
