i have a B18B in my 93 hatch...just sold my 00'Gsr to get a turbo kit and buy the B18B...i bought a Garrett T3 turbo,24"x8" front mount intercooler,Turbo Xs blowoff valve,Greddy FMU and inline fuel pump, RC 419 injectors...i'll also be running 3" exhaust,and a ACT 6puck clutch...

but the B18B i bought...i bought from a friend...he said he believes it has aftermarket cams...and is possitive that it has DC sports cam gears also...(my friend bought the motor built and the owner had no idea what was done to it)

...so...is that gonna affect my turbo setup?(the cams/cam gears)....???

also...my friend ran 15psi on this motor...how is that possible...i'm thinking the pistons are aftermarket too??? but anyways...he runs 10psi daily...so something is up with that motor...just wondering what i should run and how i should go about tuning this motor...since it is possible that it has cams...

the motor pulls hard as **** with just 10psi...15psi is incredible!!!

The cam gears are a + because it allows you to tune your cam timing. But depending on weather or not the cams are ment for FI or N/A could affect performance.
To run 15psi I would hope he has some aftermarket rods as well. How could some one buy, use, and sell a motor that they dont know whats in it not to mention boost 15psi?

well he got the motor from some guy...and who knows where it came from to begin with...but it runs strong...

and as far as boosting 15psi...it was kind of an accident(manual boost controller) and the motor held...so he tryed it again...and again...just runs strong...i didn't get it either...but...for some reason it held to 15psi...his Hondata is set to shut off the motor for anything over 15psi...so...we know we were at 15psi...cuz the car shut off...i just didn't get it...so i think i'm gonna run 10-12psi to be safe...but i'm just not sure how to tune the motor...cuz of the cams/cam gears?
