Should I go with a garret turbo kit, turbonetics, or greddy. Any ideas or suggestions please let me know. I wanna know what brand of turbo is very reliable and works great with a stock ls motor. Also who makes good intercoolers, wastegates, bof, ect.

How in the hell did you make 282whp at 11 psi? Thats crazy. I know my tune is very conservative, but i think i would need more boost to get those numbers.

I was wondering if you would be able to tell me a list of parts I would need to have for a complete turbo kit. Also do I need MSD ignition, fuel rail, fuel preassure regulator, clutch and flywheel and ect? If anyone can help please let me know.

I know this may not be specific to your year, but there is a lot of good information in here.

DurboDug93 your numbers does seem a bit low for that amount of boost

Care to post up the afr and timing graph?

You can make a lot of Intercooler fit, some just require more modification then others. I would go with a rev-hard kit although i would change out some of the hardware and the turbo they use. Its wrong for the LS. It is possible to hit 250 whp on a stock ls. Ive done it. I wouldnt use a turbonetics, people have a lot of problems with those turbos. As far as greddy goes, THe kit is effiecient up to 10 psi, but after that has problems. The other problem with greddy the parts they use make it hard to upgrade later. I got my turbo from http://www.Speedtrappconsulting.com and repsonds beautifully. Peak numbers arent the only thing to consider, although they do look nice.

Look at the dyno above. He made 246 hp and only 212 foot lbs of torque. torque is as important as horsepower. Also look where the power is being made, this may not be where you want your power for you particular application. Choosing the correct turbo has a everything to do with what yiu want to use the car for.

Im not trashing your car or numbers, im just trying to show a different perspective. Dont mean to offend you, nor my inttention
here is my dyno

from the looks of it your turbo spools as low as the other guy who posted his but you have way more turque. your graph is axactly the way i want my dyno to be. im getting my h22 tuned tommarow and i want 230 hp and 250 ft lbs @ 6 psi<just cause its an h22. is it possible to tune and purposely try to gain torque while keeping the hp numbers low?

as a matter of fact my friend just got his h22 tuned the same day i did. he put down 298 hp and 240 torque. We could have gotten more but bad plugs and a 2.5 inch exhuast with cat restricted it. as for getting more torque and less horse power. it maybe possible but i believe it will have to do with overall engine setup and turbo selection then just tunning.

It was really interesting when I configured this one. For Justateg, I was actually about 3whp and 2ft/lbs off of my original design. I accounted for the 2.5---3" downpipe, but it looks as though the E-manage tune did a bit better than originally expected. If we had the plugs changed in time, We would have easily gone for over 12psi and more torque

It's the Turbo and stroke of the engine that is going to determine more torque for you. If you have questions please PM or E-mail me at

speedtrapp@wideopenwest.com

Great going, Justin.. Now it's time to enjoy..

Would a 23"x5"x3" Spearco intercooler fit on a 95 integra?

Don't mean to thread jack, but do you guys, that are running stock ls motors, lower your compression? I'm doing research now for my turbo project in dec. Thanks

No. For the LS, lowering is not at all necessary for good boost characteristics. I've had a few LSs run like *** when they were lower than 9.0. It just isn't necessary, and power on boost lag sucks with it.

how do you design your turbo system so that you emphasize producing torque at lower rpm, i.e. adjusting where you want max torque ?
