I don't see why not. LS rods are supposed to be good to around 300 Hp from what I've seen. You'd want forged D16 pistons though. The gasket would probably be a good ideaif you're not sleeving. Timeslips are up to you though.

how much did u need to modify the LS rods to fit??

i wonder if it's needed to fit a D16Z6

i can u can easily make 250... didn't VTC_Civic made like 200 WHP with stock internals??

Definetly get some forged piston's at least! IMO, if your in there you might as well do what you can.

I have a Supercharged 97 Coupe.. At the VERY LEAST, shotpeen your current rods. Integra Rods have more chromeum (sp?), that would be the best option.

I have so used LS rods I would basically give anyone who asked. I still have them in my garage, but my expanding tool collection means some of the **** must go. LMK.

Power's not cheep my freind. It can be made CHEEPER, but do you really want to cut corner's? Especially on major part's that have the potential to destroy the entire engine?

This is afterall just IMO

i would not call it exactly cutting corners. my power goal is a modest 250hp and i hope to just make it in the low 13's. i just dont want to spend the money on forged pistons and rods when i will not use them to the fullest. i totally agree when you do some thing, do it right the first time. with that said, my oil pump, water pump will be replaced and a full rebuild of my valve train. with 135k miles on my motor i want to be at ease when i go on long trips and have money left after the rebuild to spend.

peace out
