Default Ls Motor: Compression

So im gonna buy this Ls motor and I did a compression check on it today and the results came up to be: 210, 210, 195, 210. Seems kinda of high what do you guys think? My manual says max variation would be 200. This motor is a 92 LS has about 90k or more on it. Its pretty much stock except for a filter and I know this guy uses the car to road race.

when I built my last motor, when it was just broken in it tested right around 210-220. that was a brand new LS motor with 9.2:1 compression. Didnt you just buy an LS motor a couple months ago?

yea can't pass this up 92 LS motor/tranny/ecu for 400. why not i say? I really need the 92 tranny seems its a little bit longer than my 91. 5th gear going 80 im already at 4000rpm. On the 92 im at 3200rpm or so.

Just hope its not stolen, I have the block numbers but I tried calling highway patrol or DMV they don't wanna help.

do you have a clutch for a 92? the 92 trannies have a bigger input shaft, it's the same size as the input shaft on the Hydro trannies. Your 91 clutch wont work with a 92 tranny.

try calling state ref. I dont think it will matter. my friend got his motor swap legalized with a stolen motor in it. It wasnt stolen when he bought it but the guy he bought it from later got his car stolen, and according to the paperwork the motor thats in my friends car was stolen along with the other guys car.

i did a compression test a month ago and got 150-155 reading from each cylinder. am i doin the test right?

when we plug in the compression tester... we disconnected some plug from the cap and rotor so it doesnt run... so we crank it up... and after several cranks.. thats the reading i get.

i heard from someone that im supposed to step on the gas when i crank it. is this true? will it make a difference?
