For just the LS final drive swap, you will need the countershaft and diff ring gear. The problem is that the ring gear for the LS will not fit the GSR LSD.

You need the 5th gear from both the counter and mainshafts.

I think I am wanting the same trans set up he is .... I have a hydro LS trans now ... from what I have read the ratios on both units are:

Integra LS (b18b)
1st - 3.230
2nd - 1.900
3rd - 1.269
4th - 0.966
5th - 0.714
final - 4.266

Integra GSR (b18c1)
1st - 3.230
2nd - 1.900
3rd - 1.360
4th - 1.034
5th - 0.787
final - 4.400

So does that mean all I would need is an LSD for an LS and the 3rd and 4th gears out of a GSR trans ??? And I would have bacically the same set up? ? ?

wrong. you only need the ring gear to do the swap from 4.266 to 4.4

Ring Gear Tooth Count:
4.266 = 64 teeth

4.400 = 66 teeth

4.785 = 67 teeth

Countershaft Tooth Count:

4.266 = 15 teeth

4.400 = 15 teeth

4.785 = 14 teeth
