Default Ls Crank in a b18c Dart

Is that crank able to drop right into that block or is there machining involved?

Also any opinions on what crank to use in this block with a 20 over bore, gsr head, turbocharged with a power goal of 500 would be greatly appreciated. Thank you

yes the ls crank is a drop in but you also need ls rods and the oil squirter plugs from ge also it would be a good idea to get the crank micropolished and balanced
and it should be good for your 500hp setup.

that crank will drop right in but, you also have to use the LS rods. check for proper clearance on bearings.

Thank you very much. I was aware of having to run the rods that are for the crank just was unsure if i was able to run it.

So that would be the best crank to run or is there a better option? As far as factory cranks go?

Thanks again

dont need to plug the squirters, just push the squirter lines down a tad, it will clear.

mines fine. looking for 850+ this year!

Factory honda cranks are balanced very well from the factory.. so there isn't a need to have it balanced.

wow. absolutely not. it would make it an LS w/ higher compression.

does this B18C dart block say b18c on it?
