I made 220 hp on 7 psi...on cracked ringlands and leaning out. Times were on the same conditions. The motor is now blown to hell I will advise you to control boost with an electronic boost controllers, the manual ones are good for boost spiking and cracking cylinder sleeves

Synergy004: what's wrong with protech? i was thinking of getting my car tuned there soon. my other choice is mzm in austin, but i heard they don't tune on the dyno. they just tune on the dyno before and after they tune the car on the street. alamo autosports is way too far....

 

Not true I've had joe p mbc for months now, no spikes... And I'm not saying they are crap, but heard around here at least a few people spiking with profec b....

I guess it depends on the mbc

 

i was wondering if any of you people ever just had your turbo kit on your stock b18b1 w/o fuel management (e.g hondata). i wanted to know if it was reliable and how much you were boosting or could boost safely

 

you could boost 0 psi pretty safely. do you mean you would at least have an fmu,bleebee,etc.?
