Default Low profile downpipes

I'm not sure if this topic has been covered at length, I couldn't find any real thread about it.

So here it goes.... My civic, like numerous others is ridiculously low (front lip pushes a cigarette pack across the ground) and I'm having some concerns about ground clearance under the oil pan when it comes time to mock up/fab my downpipe

I had first thought about a downpipe using oval piping but after much thought and debate... with the extra material, labor and limited space to complete an oval downpipe, I don't see it as a realistic, cost effective option. From the round -> oval transition which is at minimum 6" in length all by itself, to the fact that oval tubing is only offered with horizontal bends (read: lots of pie cuts for a vertical 90* turn)

I would imagine someone has run into the same issue before... I'd like to hear peoples thoughts, ideas, and theories on ways to realistically approach this problem...

I've been thinking about this myself for a while too!. Im low, but not super low, problem is I welded my own everything and the clearances arent great =/ my dp could definitely hug the oil pan better but oh well.
So anyways I will want to go lower in the future and have to redo my my downpipe for better clearance. lol you could just use a gutter drain spout hahah jk
What im trying to think of , is if there would be any alternate routing other than along the oil pan. But i havent come up with any good ideas yet

Guess my final verdict would have to be open downpipe out the bumper >
