k&n had a low profile air filter for my turbo ...was about 4 inches tall...and accomendated my 4 in inlet...there's a lot of specifications for the k&n just have a local parts store looks it up...good luck with everything btw don't go with a crappy cheap filter...that was how i destroy my gt35e...sucked in the metal where the filter meets and forms as one and crushed all my fins...don't settle for anyhting less than a k&n protect your investment...

USELESS. Try sifting their online filter selection for measurements.

Ended up surfing the K&N site, they break down the measurements for you in plain easy to read english. You can also order direct from them, takes about four to five days for the filter to hit your door via ground.

My turbo is a T3 and has a 2 bolt flange on the compressor with a small bend coming off of it. does any pne know where I can get this turbo inlet but straight? if that make sense lol

uh it was pretty easy for me... just measure the exact size u can fit in your engine bay. then click the options on the top of the search page to narrow down the results.

What's up Mike. I haven't used a filter since I went turbo 2 years ago. If I had a built motor or turbo that was worth something I would run a filter though.

Hrm. I went through it Saturday night. Summit's page calls up a bunch of K&N part numbers, with nothing in the discription when you click on them. No info, nothing you actually need to know to buy any of it. ??

i just posted this 1 min ago in another users topic:-

try the hks mushroom filter foam between 2 screens, it wont take much space and wont require modifying anything such as getting a slim line fan.

simple, easy and effective

Well part of my problem is that I cant just put a filter on the turbo, there is a curved tube with a flange that bolts to the turbo. If I could find just a straight one it would be no problem, I will post a pic later tonight

You have a Ford .60 compressor, I know exactly what you are talking about.

You will either have to make your own straight outlet, or swap the compressor housing for one off the single turbo 300ZX.

Me, I just ran some ducting from the Ford outlet into a 3" filter located in the bumper. Done. Putting the filter directly on the turbo and sucking hot engine bay air is what you do when you have no other options due to cramped space.

Ive got one of those knockoff HKS mushroom filters, with a real HKS filter element that i got cheap. Works and fits well.
