Default Low/High Impedence-Saturated/Peak-Hold Injector question???

Hey guys, sorry, kind of a noob question but, I have a gsr swapped boosted hatchback, and was just wondering what kind of injectors I needed to run, I'm goin to run 1,000 cc, but unsure what the difference is between saturated and peak-hold. Also, since it's a GSR, is it high impedence or low impedence, I'm not running a resistor box and would like to keep it that way, so any help would be awesome!

you found a 1000cc saturated injector? i've never seen one....

but here's what i learned from ef101 over the weekend. the difference in injectors is that one is a high impedence (saturated) and one is low impedence (peak and hold).

our oem cars run off a saturated injector system. so virtually, you'd like to run a saturated injector to refrain from running resistors or resistor boxes.

what i found out is that peak and hold would actually work better and safer than saturated injectors imo. especially when you're working with high hp cars. but that's just my opinion.

how much hp are you planning on making?

If you want to run a 1000 cc injector you will not to run a resistor box or an injector driver. A 750 cc is as high as you can go and not need a resistor box.

No i din't find a saturated 1,000, but I had been looking for one, now I know that there are none, lol. I'm running a holset and I heard they don't ever crank out too high of numbers, but I'm still going to run the 1,000's just to be safe. So basically I'm going to have to run a resistor box no matter what right?

Is there any difference in the Precision injectors or the RC injectors, is one a better injector than the other?

i don't think that one injector can be better than another. although, i do think that they may vary with what they pertain in the casing. their design and flow rate may differ as well.

the biggest saturated injector that you'll find is 750cc. if you want to run 1000cc injectors, you'll need resistors boxes because they only come in peak and hold.

so what is your hp goal?

Looking for 400+ hp, but the Precision Injectors were 320 shipped, and the RC's were 270 shipped both brand new, just wondering if either of them was better than the other.

i think u can be safe with 750's if you want 400-500hp...but 1000cc will be more on the safe side and will allow for room to grow.

just get the RC's...many people run them. can't really go wrong with either company though.

well to run 1000's you have no choice but to run a resistor box. i have never seen sats' over 750. sorry bro.

Here is a good chart to go off of when trying to figure out what size injector to go with, this is capable with 50PSI fuel rail pressure.. and these are all precision injectors, all other companies shouls fall under about the same ratings. These numbers are also with the injector working at 80% duty cycle.

310cc injector will support 52hp each at 80%
400cc will support 68hp each
440cc will support 77hp each
525cc will support 90hp each
580cc will support 100hp each
680cc will support 117hp each
780cc will support 135hp each

Check the site for larger sizes and HP capabilitys
