Default low compression how much nitrous???

ok look guys...i know that there have already been postings on this, but noone has answered how big of a shot you can put on say an 8.5:1 wiseco pistons, eagle rods in a b20b with a b16 head. i had a turbo but sold it...my motor is fresh and i dont have the money to rebuild it right now...when i do get around to rebuilding it, i will probably be somewhere close to 12:1 cr and spray on that...right now i have my timing advanced all the way at the distributor and im shooting a 100hp wet shot...it just feels weak, had the same shot on my buddys car and it is pretty nasty...i know this is because of the compression ratio, so my question is, how big of a shot can i run on that built setup???

Bring your timing back to neutral and increase the shot to 125. If you don't hear any pinging go up to 150. I don't see a problem with 175 if you have a fully built motor and 8.5:1 compression.

What kind of hardware did you use? Are the rods, wrist pins, head studs, etc all new?
