Default low compression??

hey guys, I have a JDM GSR B18C 10.6:1 compression that was turboed not to long ago but the kit was pulled off and im currently runnin NA with plans of turboing again within the next month... but my question is, i did a compression test on it a couple days ago and it was 180 across the board. isnt that a little low? i was kinda expecting closer to the lower 200's

thanks

It could be the error in the gauge. The most important aspect is that all cylinders are within a few psi of each other.

When I checked my d16z6 (stock) before a valve adjustment & turbo'ing it, it was 210 across the board with a snap-on comp tester. It had stock pistons & never resurfaced, so that should say how gauges compair.

As long as the readings between cylinders is w/in 5%, you're good. The chances of having all the rings bad and give the exact same reading is the same as seeing a 300lb girl on that Top Model show.
