Lovefab Sidewinder Radiator fitment issue. Short Radiator?
I bought this manifold over a year ago and I was going to put into an Integra LS but I just recently purchased a CRX.
The only thing that is holding me back right now is the radiator. The full radiator won't fit and a half radiator won't fit either (It fits with the inline pro manifold because I can lean it forward, but I can't lean it forward with this manifold). However, I noticed that there is a lot of room behind the intercooler, but the radiator would have to be really short to fit under there. Does anybody know where I can get a short radiator? CRX brothers, help me out.

Heh, owned by the little engine bay You can most likely measure out the area that you can fit the radiator... and then get a custom core cut/made.

even that would probably be too wide..
check out scirroco-style drag race radiators (real popular with musclecar/drag racers) ...they have aluminum ones on summit. they are a bunch shorter than ef radiators, have the inlet/outlet the same way and everything. i'm going to be doing one this winter.
they are ALMOST too wide though...thats what i've found. would barely fit width wise.... give them a look

You can take 4 pics of your engine bay with the camera held at funky angles, but you couldn't take one top down pic of the spot where the radiator needed to go? hehehe
But yah, check out http://www.full-race.com and look at the radiators for the PWR shorty radiator. From the looks of it though your WG outlet will be pointing right at the rad. It'lll be hard to tell if a dumptube will be able to feet in there.

if you cut the bottom of the rad support off and weld some small tubing in place of it it will work really well. use small squre tubing and a traction bar and mount the radiator in where the condensor eas it works great.

Remember with the Scirocco(sp?) radiator mounted low you will have to get an inline radiator cap to splice into the upper radiator hose since the radiator is now no longer the highest point of the cooling system.
