confirm this garrett gt40???

Default confirm this garrett gt40???

this is supposed to be a GT40, but the compressor housing doesn't look like the standard GT40...any idea?

What does the A/R say on the Comp Housing, and that is definitely an older Comp Housing.

After thinking about it a bit more, I think it is a gt37. Search google for pictures of one and you'll see they are the same.

the compressor A/R says .58, it has a 82mm compressor wheel...

interesting...perhaps it's a truck turbo???? clueless.

The hot side looks like a Holset.
Mayhaps it's some sort of Holset/Garrett Hybrid.

That is a GT4082 based off of the measurements. Just a old housing or a custom app.
