lot of torque steer New turbo and car
hi, i totaled my 96 civic and buy a 97ex mint, swap the ls/vtec turbo and the
rear disc conversion. The only mod. to the engine is swaping from sc34E to
pt6162E i add a little of fuel to be safe by the moment. Now with this car
when shift to 2cnd pulls all the way to the right , i play with the steering but
when hit third and gain more speed goes directly to the right sideway. I not
have lsd at the moment but the other car isn't to bad to drive.
things i doing:
1-make a DIY alignment
2-check the bushings
3-new tokico blues
4-OBX Springs and sleeves (come in the car)
three of my coilovers are totaled
5-new innovative 70a steel mounts

what you saying is take the car to a alignment shop and change the obx
springs? The alignment i can do it morrow but the coilovers not now.

Your saying you "add a little fuel" I am guessing this car has never been properly tuned
For your torque steer issues.
Step 1: Check Tires
Step 2: Check Suspension components (tie rods, control arms, bushings)
Step 3: Get an Alignment
Step 4: Get a Traction Bar
Step 5: Get an LSD

yeah uneven tire pressure can make cause it to steer poorly.
i honestly dont think you need a crazy traction bar setup.
also with a turbo like that id want a stiffer/better suspension that obx coilovers and tokico blue's.
look for spring rates in the 400-600lb range in my opinion. if you can get something 1 piece than you can also adjust the preload which will help i think

Yes it was dyno tuned, but for the moment i only hook up the ostrich and make a few pulls and make a few adjusts
i change my rear tires to front and the car is other.
Cause i live in Puerto Rico i was able to find a Type R lsd in Dominican Republic
i'm waiting for shipping.
