Default Alignment issue

about a week ago i installed a set of coilovers on my car. I let it settle for a day or two then i went to get an alignment at the shop. However after a week of the alignment i noticed my car height went down a little bit ( not significantly) . My question is that, Do I need to get another alignment? thanks in advance

What coilovers do you have? I don't think they should be settling like that.

How much is it?

Idealy whenever the ride height changes you need to get it re-done.

Car goes down, toe goes out.

If the car "settled", it sounds like the bushing were not correctly clocked. Neither the springs nor shocks should ever settle on their own.

Pick a final ride height, clock the bushings, then get it aligned.

If you have rubber bushings, this is probably what has happened. The "settling" that you notice is actually the bushings tearing, or at least the inner metal sleeve slipping around the bolt to equalize itself with its current ride height.

The drop is minimal no more than even half a finger. Before i had a whole finger gap but now the gap is still there but just tighter fit. I bought a set of progress coilover advertised on HT. How much height drop will result toe change. Id say the change was no more than 0.15 inches. Thanks

that little of change i'd doubt would change your settings enough to cause any issues. when i used to work at toyota i'd check my alignment like every month for the hell of it. was slow at work one day so i lowered my car like another 1/2 inch and rechecked my alignment and everything was still in the green. changed a little but nothing that i had to go back and adjust it. so 0.15 of an inch i wouldnt worry too much but it never hurts to check.
