Default losing boost...??

I've been boosting for about a month now....but recently my car has been having trouble boosting past 6 psi....i have the boost controller set to 7.5 and no matter how hard i gas it, it doesn't go past 6. I have a 6 psi spring in the wastegate, so it seems like the boost controller isn't working....btw i have a blitz sbc-id.

check all your boost connections, ie, intercooler pipes, vaccum hoses.

Depending on where you have the boost being read from (ie. the compressor housing will see 7.5 psi before the intake manifold will), could be losing the 1.5 lbs between the associated piping and intercooler. Typically, a loose pipe will only yield 1lb of boost, if any. Have you ALWAYS had this problem WITH the boost controller, or JUST when you installed it?

Greddy profec- b connect the vacuam at the charge pipe before the throttle body but i don't know if Blitz does the same.
anything would be that wastegate is leaking, any weird sound while the gate is closed?

Have you tried setting the boost HIGHER on the boost controller to see if that changes anything? Like if you set it to 8.5 PSI does it maybe go up to 7 psi? Or have you considered the possibility that your boost gauge is inaccurate? Most are. A 1.5 psi difference is not particularly significant or could indicate a kinked hose to the boost gauge.

you should check the small vac line going to the blitz control unit. make sure its not crimped. thats what happened to me w/ my dsbc and the car was boosting wierd, not hitting 7.5 which was what i set it to.
