It's been a few years since I took Automotive 101 at the local college. So I have a question that I need your help with:

For every rotation of the crank the cams spin 1/2 rotation? I can't remember. Is it 2:1?

I have a friend who put his belt on with the cams lined up for tdc for the #2 cylinder and I want to know if he bent valves or not. Does anyone know where in the engine cycle the valves could hit the pistons?
