Looking for some help building ls/vtec turbo!!
Hey guys i just recently bought a ls and a jdm gsr head but i was wondering what would be a good set up for boost. im trying to get as much hp as possible on pump gas. I would like to go fully built but i would like your input on what parts are better. this will be my first boosted car.
Thanks,
JDMHondaNation

i have the eagle rods, srp pistons(81.5), stock gsr cams, 1200cc injectors, victor x, 70mm t/b, top mount, t3 turbo, as well as gsr main girdle, and block guard(on stock sleeves)
hope this helps.

I think everyone is going to have a little different opinion on best parts. As long as you stick to well known brands that back their products you'll have good luck. I like Wiseco pistons, eagle rods, oem or acl bearings, golden eagle sleeves and I love precision turbo and engine stuff. Im using their injectors(1200cc), turbo(6262), and wastegate(46mm). And top it off with good ecu tuning software. I like Hondata but I hear good things about Neptune as well.
thanks guys i really appreciate the help. I've heard good things about Wiseco and Golden eagle. but i want to go with titanium sleeves. my friend was telling me about it but i have yet to find a brand or company for it. supposedly they can hold up to 1200 hp before they split. and I also wanted to go with a fully built head. what valves, springs, and retainers are good?

You have never herd of GE and you think Titanium sleeves are the shiz..... You got a lot of research to do man. All the info is out there you just gotta look it up. Coming on here asking what is the "best" is not a good way to do things.
Bro, just use a Ductile Iron sleeve from Golden Eagle or a MID sleeve from Darton.. You'll be fine, bro.. A titanium sleeve is completely unwarranted, unnecessary, and almost irreplaceable if there is a problem in the future.
