whats the best intercooler for civic si boost 18psi not to expensive ?

 

I'm looking for an intercooler for my Garret T3 set up, i have turbo and manifold so far.. need ther rest of the goodies

gonna run 6-8psi

The best intercooler depends on turbo size. You say that you want to spin 18 psi. Well, if the turbo you use struggles to make that boost, it is not efficient and is going to make heat. In that case, a larger intercooler may be better. If you use a turbo that can make 18 psi with ease, efficiently, as a result there will be less heat and a smaller intercooler can be used. A modified Starion I/C might be ok...

 

hey what size (dimension) is that intercooler?
My neighbors who just moved away left their turbo lebaron in the lot. It's a junker, but if the intercooler is still in good condition, I might risk trying to get it
