Default log manifold Q

Can a D16 manifold be cut at the the flange (head) and welded over to a stock B series flange?

I ask because I was going to turbo my D16 but decided that it would be more fun to boost my B18 CRX. TIA

Cheers

The location of the collector and flow of the runners is going to be affected when switching over to something like that. It can be done, but that doesn't make it a good idea. There are plenty of lower priced manifolds that can be purchased to accomodate, so first attempt to sell the D-manifold, unless it was from a higher quality guage material, then it might be worth salvaging.

Cool

Thanks for the reply. I guess it's better to just look for a different mani.
