Default log manifold capable of 300whp??

i have a lsvtec and was wondering if a log manifold is capable of 300-350whp??

I have heard claims of over 600 being made on one, so i wouldnt worry about a measle 300

yep just gotta run a few more lbs. than the ramhorn guys...just make sure your exhaust post-turbo isn't too restrictive.

thats good to hear because i to have a log manifold with my turbo set up and i am upgrading soon hoping for the 400whp+ group. i know its not alot for most but 400whp is alot for me.

it will make the power, but the spool time will be alot later

you will see gains pretty much the whole powerband with any manifold that has a merge

It's a well known fact that a log will always spool faster then an equal length..

Log = quicker spool but less top end

Inline Pro logs have made over 600hp

My inline pro is doing 400+ right now

Basic logs can doo 300 EASILY

it may spool faster, but do you honestly want all that reversion from a poorly designed manifold going back into your cylinders

i'd rather save the extra couple hundred and get a good manifold (i.e Peakboost FTW $599)

Sometimes $300 is the difference between having enough money to race and having enough money to eat. If I remember right, my log cost $200.

I'm on a log manifold too, hopefully I'll scrape together enough to change it out sometime. Maybe next 2007 winter.

hell the inline pro guys are using their stainless log and goin 9's with it?

Same here, making over 300whp with a drag mani and turbo on 10psi. Cant compain at all

First turbo set-up was a maxrev log manifold and a T3/TO4E .57 trim and I made 401 at 18psi.

Can be done!
