K welll i notice my car is not building boost at all. I also notice that i have exhaust gases coming out my dumptube when idling. IS the wastegate going bad? What the hell can it be. It also a tial style 38mm wastegate from ss autochrome. So please help me out with this problem. Need to get my car running right by this weekend??

there ya go. you should not have exh coming out at idle, also check your IC piping to make sure all is still attached together

if exhaust is coming out of the dump tube, than its not an intercooler pipe problem.

either you dont have the fire ring in there, or the wastegate is bad. buy a real tial gate

my wastegate got stuck open once. i couldn't build boost at all. i finally just took it all the way up to 8k and it closed for some reason. lol but then it blew the gasket a couple weeks later. you should get the turbonetics fire ring style gasket from atpturbo for it too.

You should make a post that the wastegate is junk and just about wrecked your motor That is what most people usually do.
