load leveler/chains
All the levelers I used before was a pita, just about all levelers are design for domestics
. chains seems like a hassle too. The helms shows a perfect leveler for our motors but i cant find one like it anywhere. What do you guys use or do?

The one that I picked up from work (Advance) is a pile of crap. The welds are pourus as all hell and arrowheaded, it wasn't a pleasent experience using it. Didn't feel real safe. Maybe if the welds were re-done.

I've always used the chains, no problem. No leveler. Even by myself I have pulled motor in an out.

At our shop we have a harbor freight bogus leveler that works great (4 cyl, 8 cyl.. it doesnt matter) after some modifications.
They key is to modify the leveler and use roller bearings instead of just a rod spinning in a steel sleeve. This makes the thing roll MUCH EASIER. I forget where we got the bearings from and if anyone wants pictures to make it clearer I can do so this weekend.
Otherwise you're busting your *** trying to spin the thing.
I've done the ole just chains thing for years too, but the leveler is defn nice on some projects.
