Limits of stock valves
I am currently in th process of building my D-16 Y-8, and will be adding a turbo in the future. I was wondering at what point should I swap out the stock valves for a set of Stainless steal ones. I am shooting for 300WHP on pump gas. I already have a Zex cam, ported head, Skunk 2 valve springs, TI retainers, GSR throttle body, CP pistons, Eagle rods, crank scraper, and will be getting the reciprocating assembly balanced in a few weeks.

Cool.. thanks. That really puts me at ease about using the stock valves. If your beast of a motor didn't distroy them, then mine should be ok.
