unless you're building an all out 800hp 10,000 rpm track beast, stock valves are fine for the power levels you're going to run on pump gas

Re: turbo build...what kind of valves??
yea, never had a problem with stock valves. 400hp is very do-able with stockers. Keep it simple where it needs to be. Thats just one less thing to worry about breaking down the road.
I;ve nver heard of the SI valves and at 10 bucks a piece I'd be a little wary. Is saving that much money really worth trashing your motor, plus ruining a ported head?

Re: turbo build...what kind of valves??
Ive never herd of them eaither untill my machine shop told me aout them the qualiatly was really good again your not trying to make 800hp. I had a fully built b16 with a ported head aswell and again i made 454whp and the car ran fine i'de deff look into them they may be better than stock and at that price they may be just what you need. I had a simular set up SI valves crower springs and retainers and crower cams. car was a beast.
