Default To leave the turbo or not that is the question

breaking in new motor golden eagle block, endyn roller waves 9:1, eagle rods should i keep the turbo on it or break it in without?

Some say do some say don't. Do a quick search and I am sure you will find the answer. There was a topic recently that covered this. Try the drag forum as well, I remember seeing one over there. Good luck.

Either get a junk turbo to use in place of the good turbo, or remove the turbo altogether. When breaking in a new motor, there can be all kinds of crap in the oil, and I have seen many a car kill a nice expensive turbo this way. Not good.

In my area's DSM club, a couple people have junked 14b's that we just sort of pass around for people to use for breaking in motors. Perhaps you can find a dead whatever turbo you're using.
