Kumho Tires/ Nitto/ Any suggestions?
I need a tire that will be good on the street ( both racing and daily driving in rain) with a decent treadwear. I'm looking to run 205/50 15's on 15x7 rims & would like opinions from anyone running these tires, or any other brand tires.

I've had the Kuhmo Ecsta's and therye definately good for the money and offer pretty good perforamnce. Nitto seems to be a lil bit more on teh expensive side.

Yo,
The Kumho tires are good for what you need. They have a high treadwear and grip well. Very stable in the rain, and predictible. They don't really have any grey area between grip and no grip, but they are eager to quit spinning and grab again when you light em up. The Z rated tire is the only way to go. If you get any Kumho lower than that you might as well ride on the junky Nittos. The nittos (450s) are like driving around on sticks of butter. I hear the Nitto 555s are pretty good and I have seen a few imports post fast laps on them. But they most likely have a pretty low treadwear. I am gonna be getting some new tires soon and I will post an evaluation (subjective) of whatever I get.
