wtf? i thought supercharger were supposed to be quiet...well my car now sounds like a kid is riding is bike around with baseball cards in the spokes. It idles at 1500 and just doesnt sound good at all. the kit was used and i already had honda look at it and they said take it to a shop and have em break it down. It sounds so bad, cahcunck,cahcunk,...cahcunk cahcunk...and so on. Hteres no whinning at all. I also dont get boost until about 6500, theres no feel to acceleration, its weird. any opions wuld be thankful...

the bearings are likely fubared, or the fins are bent.

 

Twin screw superchargers have even tighter clearances than most turbos. Turbo blades just have to spin in a cone, screws have to spin past each other.

If one of those blades is even a tiny bit off, it will clank every time the blades cross at that point. I wouldn't have even revved it up to 6500.

 

i bought the charger off AMS_Mike off here, im gonna have m honda shop look at it out here and see what these guys say, im gonna have it towed cuz my head is way to important to warp...

 

Check around the pulley to see if any oil is leaking from the charger.

Clacking and no boost is typical symptoms of a necessary rebuild.

Timming has nothing do with Knocking at idle, You could run 20 deg and it wouldn't knock at idle. As for not getting boost till high RPMs,,,,Something doesn't sound right!.
