Default K24 supercharger?

If this is a re-post, then I apologize. I searched here, and some other Honda boards including Jackson Racing, and Vortech.

In short, the wife bought a 05' CRV (K24 I think) and she loves it but just wants a little kick in the shorts. Please do not reply with some stupid **** like "jus Tur8o dat bish!". This will need to be reliable and low to mild power increase for an automotive-challenged female so turbo is NOT an option.

You can still have low end power with a small turbo... Turbos are just as reliable as a blower.

While I appreciate the reply..... apparently I was not clear about not putting a turbo on the wife's new car. PERIOD

mechanically challenged female + turbo = big headache for me. NO MORE ABOUT TURBOS. I like them, but that ain't going on the wife's car.

Jackson make a K series kit. You'll need bigger injectors and a K-Pro to take full advantage of it.

I dont see what the big deal is about turbo? If done right, a nice small turbo at low boost will be reliable and be perfect for what you want. A supercharger isnt going to just automatically be less headache, if you do it right and dont rig stuff up then either will be just as reliable as the other.

I saw the ones they make for the K20 engines in the Civic and RSX, but there was no mention of the K24. I would think that if it did work on the K24 then they would mention the TSX, CRV, Accord, etc....

The one for the EP3 should fit. the head flange is the same. Does the CRV have a PS pump or EPS (Electric Power Steering)?

PrecisionH23a - U so funny....

tthame1 & Jeffescortlx - you guys MUST be single. Do I have to spell everything out..... Wife used to own a Turbo LeBarron back in the day. She didn't like it one bit. Now ALL turbos must be crap (in her mind). So it is either beat my head against the wall to convince her (not worth it) or save my skull and go another route.

If I thought she would go for the K24A2 (+40hp/3tq) I would rather try talking her into that.

FULLTHROTTLE - Thanks for the constructive input. I don't know which it has, I will have to look.
