Default just got back from the track :(

i need your help guys. went to the track today. was stagging and yellow yellow yellow launcheddd and then CraCk.. something broke. just got home and took the tires off. now when i spin the tires it makes a knocking sound. i just installed a clutch and flywheel like a week ago. when i spin the passenger side wheel, sometimes the other side would spin and sometime it doesnt. when it doesnt spin it makesa grinding sound. what do you think it is?

don't be too sad, you broke and axle....go to autozone or discount auto it's a 50 core, then invest in some DSS axles.

yea dont worry it is a axle. plan on changing these alot being turbo charged unless you invest in some good ones.

ok the axles are fine....this one guy told me it might be my differential. so i guess im taking the tranny off and taking my POS centerforce dual friction i just put on there 3 days ago.... which clutch should i go with>? ACT hdss or xtss? right now im running 9 psi and in the future planning on 15. thanks

XTSS, saying that because i have it in my car, and it holds fine....doesn't slip at all..and grips just as good as the slicks

stock pp with clutchnet stage 2 is holding my power just fine I'm running 11 psi.

i'm lookin to run about 15psi and have 300whp on my LS, and i plan on running the XTSS. I heard it holds up to 310 or so lb-ft.

clutchnet stage 2 holds pretty strong (supposedly up to 300lb of tq), but otherwise the clutch sucks. chatters, terrible pedal feel, squeaks....

did u break the clutch in also if its not making noise when the gears are engaged it might not be your clutch id get your differential looked at

Honestly, just buy another tranny. $200 and viola.. no differential problems
