Default Just got back from the dyno

Heres my setup:

98 GSR stock motor
t3/t4e .57 trim stage 3 wheel
custom log manifold
custom 2.25 in ic piping
tial wastegate
walbro intake fuel pump
550 rc inj
stage 2b hondata
spearco ic
running downpipe out

232 hp and 169 ftlbs of torque at 8.5 lbs
a/f was kept between 12:1 and 11:2. It didnt like being any leaner.
the air temp was 100 degrees
the motor wouldnt take much timing from 5000 rpms to about 7000 rpms. It broke up real bad, even though the hp gain was huge. I made 145hp at 5200 rpms but when we added 2-3 degrees of timing it made 208 hp at 5200 rpms. The hp gain was phenomenal but it kept breaking up so we had to pull the timing back out. Almost like the fuel is blowing the spark out. I need to upgrade from the stock ignition. Right now im thinking cam gears and MSD.

What do yall think? Ill get the graphs up as soon as i can get my printer working.

Default Re: Just got back from the dyno (EGb18cT)

Sounds good. I made 232 whp too out of my b16 at 8psi. I'm sure your torque is higher than mine though. The dyno wasnt giving any torque readings for some reason.
